Sheyda Esnaashari

Sheyda (she/her) is a water sector leader, facilitator, and strategist who finds purpose in partnering with movement leaders to build the resilience and impact of people, networks, and coalitions in the environmental and social change sectors. Sheyda most recently brings a decade of experience in water policy and implementation of initiatives supporting clean and safe drinking water for all. This includes issues of water affordability, infrastructure funding and access, and equitable technical assistance for communities addressing historic disinvestment. She has led water portfolios at regional and national NGOs and most recently served as a Senior Advisor at US EPA Office of Groundwater and Drinking Water. Sheyda received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a master's in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
