Monica Chan

Monica is the Project Management Lead for World Wildlife Fund (WWF-US), where she heads a supportive, one-person Project Management Office within the Operations department. Monica has dedicated the past decade to the environmental nonprofit sector, holding various project management and operational roles at organizations such as The Nature Conservancy and Trust for Public Land. Having supported diverse teams across Marketing, Legal, and IT, she thrives on building and refining processes to bring complex projects to life. Monica holds a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Policy, and she is both PMP and PMO certified.

Outside of work, Monica is usually experimenting with new recipes like handmade tahini chocolate chunk cookies or finding ways to develop her green thumb by growing a variety of plants and vegetables in her balcony garden. When she isn't dog sitting, she’s busy picking the piano back up, hiking with her husband, and practicing Spanish to keep up with her in-laws.
